We just played a bunch of shows...

...but didn't tell anyone, because we're jerks.

They went as following:

On the Brisbane/Toowoomba leg of the Axxonn tour: 18th&19th of Feb

http://www.collapseboard.com/axxonn-tour-blog-part-2

Then a show with whats now known as Winter Haunts (White Bears of Norway aka Rational Academy) and some other folk like Ambrose Chapel : 1st of April

We also supported Thrones, who Dave and I are listening to right now as this post is being written, best record ever: 9th of April.

Rave magazine did a review of the show, which I will post here for your amusement, the writing is inept at best, I'm sorry but it is, who the fuck edits this shit?

"
The Step Inn - Sat Apr 9
Armed with earplugs and an appetite for the glacially-paced, a modest crowd is drawn to the Valley’s Step Inn for a long night of slow music. The pace of this evening’s musical entertainment is parallel to the speed that I travel at in getting to The Step Inn tonight, missing the collaboration of the Joel Stern Robert MacManus duo. Before Pastel Blaze play a set of garage-y punk rock and offer a much necessary distraction from music designed for 20-something pseudo-intellectuals to stroke their beards to. Even in its visceral, raw form, Pastel Blaze’s set reaffirms the merits of conventionally structured rock songs on a night when the crowd is hearing anything but.
Three piece Die On Planes quickly lock into their own trance-like dirge. Facing away from the audience though they are locked in a transcendental jam, the band allows the floating rock & roll psychedelia of their guitars to be grounded by their leaden rhythm section.
John Wiese’s discography is impressive, as is his long list of collaborations. But tonight he’s simply onstage making noise, and one can’t but help to check out from a set that sounds equal parts white noise and elevator music.
With pigtails hanging over his Morbid Angel shirt, Joe Preston takes to the stage under the Thrones moniker looking like an evil hippie. With the help of a backing track, our man ventures into an extensive back catalogue of noise. But in the dissonant cacophony and skull-fucking heaviness, Preston manages to find a nucleus of peace at the heart of his chaotic music. Or maybe that’s just because it’s late, and the hypnotic rhythms are starting to make this reviewer fall asleep.
TOM HERSEY"

And to be honest the opinions in this article are outright prejudiced, none of the music that we make is intellectual,
stop assuming that.

We also played the Beetle Bar on the 15th of April With Dreamtime, Butcher Birds and Smokestack Orchestra, a good time was had by all and good ol' Stephen Goodwin took some sweet photos,
seriously impressed with the amount of shows this guy takes photos at and have them look awesome consistently, check em:
